Along with the likes of Jennifer Holliday, Christy Altomare, Auli'i Cravalho, Betsy Wolfe and Jonathan Groff, the two Hollywood actresses appear on the musical's new concept album.

AceShowbiz - Kristin Chenoweth, Jennifer Holliday and Lea Michele appear on a new concept album inspired by legendary songwriter Burt Bacharach and Steven Sater's musical "Some Lovers".

The trio joins a string of theater and movie stars, including Christy Altomare, Auli'i Cravalho, Betsy Wolfe, and Jonathan Groff, who have all been recruited to record songs from the show.

Chenoweth contributed to the song titled, "Just Walk Away", whereas Holliday delivered a track titled "Every Other Hour". In the meantime, Michele sung a duet with Groff titled "Love Me for an Hour".

The "Some Lovers" compilation dropped digitally on Wednesday, October 6 and will be available on CD on November 26. It is produced by Michael Croiter and Ben Hartman with Bacharach, Sater and Cody Lassen serving as co-producers.

The musical follows the story of a couple "caught between their present and their past" and features an original story and lyrics by Sater and all-new music from Bacharach - his first original score for the stage since "Promises, Promises" in 1968.

The musical has had several lives, including a premiere at The Old Globe in San Diego, California, a concert at the Lincoln Center in New York, and a production at The Other Palace in London.

In addition to three Academy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards and eight Grammys, Bacharach was the recipient of the 2012 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. He had been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Sater, meanwhile, was the winner of the Olivier Award for Best New Musical for "Spring Awakening". He also collected Tony Awards for Best Book and Best Score and the Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album.
