The cast and crew members of the Netflix period drama series have reportedly returned to work as the production resumes after a brief break due to Covid scare.

AceShowbiz - Netflix period drama "Bridgerton" has resumed production on Friday (16Jul21) after filming was temporarily halted when a crew member tested positive for Covid-19.
Following the detection of a positive Covid-19 case on the production, filming was immediately paused to allow for an isolated round of testing of everyone involved in the series.
According to editors at RadioTimes.com, everyone involved in the Emmy-nominated series was tested, and the person impacted is now isolating.
No one in the "Bridgerton" cast, which includes leading lady Phoebe Dynevor, has reportedly been affected.
The news comes after a report published in Britain's The Sun newspaper claimed filming of series two had been thrown into chaos after a crew member got coronavirus, and Netflix bosses were concerned about the affect it might have on its two biggest shows, "Bridgerton" and "The Crown".
"Both period epics are hugely important international hits for the streaming giant, but both require extremely large cast and crew," a source told the publication.
"That's a logistical nightmare in terms of trying to keep staff safe, prevent an outbreak or contain one when it's been identified. It's also a headache for producers because removing cast or crew and putting them into isolation means they have to be replaced at short notice, and that's not always possible."
Filming for the second season, which will focus on Jonathan Bailey's character Anthony Bridgerton, began in May (21). Season one debuted at Christmas last year.
