AceShowbiz - Indian Red Boy's death might not have anything to do with Nipsey Hussle despite previous reports saying so. A man has claimed on Instagram that the Inglewood artist's murder was not a retaliation for disrespecting the "Racks in the Middle" spitter, but it was because of a girl.

The man, who is yet to be identified, hopped on Instagram to spill the alleged motive of the shooting. "I've been looking at these videos and s**t, right?" he said. "Been looking at big homies, OGs from the land talking about, 'Yeah that was payback for Nipsey Hussle.' All this other good s**t. Y'all n***as really believe that? For the OGs that's on YouTube or on some type of platform on camera saying that s**t, do y'all really believe that? And some of y'all OG Crip n***as that's from the land sayin' this s**t not even from '60s."

The man further detailed what allegedly happened between Indian Red Boy and his homie prior to the shooting. "What happened was him and his n***a was both f**kin' on the same Thotiana. She gets around. They pass her around and his homeboy even tossed him the b***h. It was said by that female that Zerail was talkin' real greazy about his partner, basically pillow talk. The female went and told Zerail's partner and said, 'Blood sayin' this that and the third about you.' So that's when homie went and approached Zerail."

Indian Red Boy and his friend allegedly got into brawl "in front of the homies." Indian Red Boy reportedly lost the fight and was terribly beaten up, but apparently that wasn't enough. "When this n***a went to Hawthorne, Chadron Ave. He was pulling up on the same female he was pillow talking with, the same female that went and told Zerail's partner the s**t that Zerail was saying about him," the man went on claiming. "He went and pulled up on the same female. I'm not saying she set him up, but the Rolling '60s had nothing to do with that man getting killed."

Indian Red Boy, whose real name was Zerail Dijon Rivera, was shot and killed on July 8 while he was sitting in his car, which was parked behind an apartment building at the 14100 block of Chadron Avenue in Hawthorne. He was on Instagram Live with a friend, @kapaalxt8, when the incident took place.

According to the police report, "It appears to have been a walk-up shooting and he appears to have been targeted." Police also identified the late rapper as a possible gang member.

Following his death, there was a speculation that the murder was a retaliation after Indian Red Boy defaced a Nipsey Hussle mural using red paint. Others, however, said another associate of Indian Red Boy was the one who defaced the mural.
