Seemingly a fan of soccer, the 7-year-old royal shares a sweet embrace with his mom Kate Middleton when England's player Luke Shaw scores one point during the game.

AceShowbiz - Prince George attended the 2020 UEFA soccer final with his dad Prince William and mom Kate Middleton. In the Sunday, July 11 event, the oldest son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge stole people's attention with his cuteness as he enjoyed the game between England and Italy at Wembley Stadium.

For the outing, the young royal donned a navy suit that he paired with a blue-and-yellow striped tie. Seemingly a fan of soccer, the 7-year-old watched the game intently. At one point, George shared a sweet embrace with his mom when England's Luke Shaw scored one point during the game.

As for his father, Prince William was photographed crouching down to Georgie's level. The Duke, who is president of the Football Association, seemingly explained things to his son. The young prince being a fan of soccer should not come as surprise as it's always been in the family. George's late great grandfather, Prince Phillip, was known as a HUGE sports fan, especially English football.

The family, however, had to go home with disappointment as Italy ended up defeating England in the final after a penalty shootout, winning the shootout 3-2. "Heartbreaking. Congratulations @Azzurri on a great victory," the official Twitter account of Kensington Palace wrote following the match. "@England, you've all come so far, but sadly this time it wasn't our day. You can all hold your heads high, and be so proud of yourselves -- I know there's more to come. W."

On Saturday, Queen Elizabeth II congratulated England soccer team on advancing to the final. "55 years ago I was fortunate to present the World Cup to Bobby Moore and saw what it meant to the players, management and support staff to reach and win the final of a major international football tournament," the message read. "I want to send my congratulations and that of my family to you all on reaching the final of the European Championships, and send my good wishes for tomorrow with the hope that history will record not only your success but also the spirit, commitment and pride with which you have conducted yourselves."

Meanwhile, Kate, William and George's outing marked Kate's second big match that she saw at one day. Prior to this, the royal family member attended Wimbledon with her father.
