The 'Hot Girl Summer' hitmaker is allegedly set to feature on the front page of the upcoming annual summer special edition of the Sports illustrated Swimsuit.

AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion is to grace the cover of the 2021 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, according to new reports.

The "Savage" rapper will join Beyonce among the non models who have appeared on the front of the annual summer special.

This year's issue will also feature transgender model Leyna Bloom, Lewis Freese, the brand's first male candidate to become a finalist in the SI Swim Search, and nurse Maggie Rawlins.

Sports Illustrated representatives have refused to confirm Megan is among their cover girls and the rapper's aides are also keeping their lips closed.

The new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue will be unveiled next week, ahead of the magazine's official launch on 19 July (21).

Megan recently confessed to being a "girl's girl," admitting she likes to steer clear of "competitive and catty" people.

"It is important for me to be known as a girl's girl because a lot of times the industry tries to paint it like women don't support each other ... that girls can't be in the same field without being competitive and catty," the "Hot Girl Summer" star said.

"But me, I love all the girls and I want everybody to know I don't believe in that. I am in my own lane, you are in your lane, and, you know, I appreciate good music. All these women."

She also took a break from Twitter because she finds too many people to be dishonest on Twitter. "I'm not ignoring y'all I just really be having to stay off this app sometimes lol (sic)," so she explained to her online followers on the blue-bird micro-blogging app.
