'To be honest with you, the Paris Hilton story on what they did to her at that school, I didn't believe any of it,' the singer tells a judge during a virtual hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court.

AceShowbiz - During her court hearing in Los Angeles Wednesday, June 23, Britney Spears talked about Paris Hilton's abuse allegations against a boarding school in Utah that she attended. The pop star revealed that she didn't believe her former best friend, noting that it was the reason why she kept silent about the matter.

"To be honest with you, the Paris Hilton story on what they did to her at that school, I didn't believe any of it. I'm sorry," Britney told a judge during a virtual hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court. Paris previously accused staff at the Provo Canyon School in Utah of being "evil and sadistic" towards her and other students.

Of the accusations, the "Toxic" singer said, "Mainly I didn't want to say it openly because I honestly don't think anyone would believe me." She added, "I'm an outsider and I'll just be honest, I didn't believe it and maybe I'm wrong and that's why I didn't want to say any of this to anybody to the public because I thought people would make fun of me or laugh at me and say, 'She's lying, she's got everything, she's Britney Spears.' I'm not lying. I just want my life back."

In the court hearing, Britney also broke her silence about her conservatorship, comparing her life under the arrangement to a "sex trafficking" victim. "In California, the only similar thing to this is called sex trafficking, making anyone work against their will, taking all their possessions away credit card, cash, phone, passport," she told the judge.

Britney also claimed she has been "forced" to work "against her will," including a tour she agreed to "out of fear." She additionally said that she wanted to have more children with boyfriend Sam Asghari but she wasn't be able to remove her IUD because of the conservatorship. "I have an IUD inside of me so that I don't get pregnant," she told the court. "My team doesn't want me to have any more children."

Britney added, "It's my wish and dream for all this to end. I honestly don't think anyone would believe me. I thought people would make fun of me. I just want my life back. It's enough. All I would honestly like is to sue my family [and] share my story with the world."
