Reflecting on the tragedy that left him blind in one eye, the 16-year-old Florida rapper admits he went through depression after not being able to see with both eyes, 'but then I got very in tune with myself.'

AceShowbiz - Amid the rising violence that has claimed the lives of so many hip-hop artists, C Glizzy couldn't complain that he survived a shooting. Despite being left blind in one eye after a 2019 tragedy, the South Florida rapper has dubbed himself a walking miracle for staying alive.
In an interview with Local 10 News, the teen rapper reflected on the shooting that landed him in the hospital with a gunshot wound to the head two years ago. Deciding to see the good out of the bad situation, he said, "It ain't nothing bad about me. I'm a blessing. I'm a walking miracle."
C Glizzy, whose real name is Christian Moore, added, "It's nothing wrong with it. Everybody go through problems every day. You got people out here with no legs, like, it's stuff worse, could be worse, so I just thank God. I just thank God."
The shooting took place on June 15, 2019. Detailing the incident, C Glizzy said at the time he was sitting in the passenger seat of a car, waiting for his friend to come outside of a convenience store in Pompano Beach. When his friend got back in the car and they drove away, someone started shooting at the car.
"And then we got into a car crash on the way to the hospital," the 16-year-old recalled. A bullet struck him in the head, shattering the bone around the his eye. "The bullet, like, grazed in. It went in, but it went in, like, through at an angle. That's why I didn't never die," he shared.
C Glizzy's brother, who was injured in the crash, carried the rapper on the side of Interstate 95 until a good Samaritan pulled over in a U-Haul truck and took them to the hospital. When he woke up, the up-and-coming rapper admitted that he was struggling to accept the fact that he couldn't see with both eyes anymore.
"I'm so used to seeing both eyes," he said of his initial reaction. "It was a depression of me having to wake up and see this," he admitted, but he managed to overcome it. He added, "...but then I got very in tune with myself. I love myself now."
The shooting occurred nearly one eyes after C Glizzy's pal XXXTentacion was gunned down in South Florida on June 18, 2018. The two were often seen on social media hanging out before the latter was killed in the armed robbery.
