AceShowbiz - Diddy gave his stepson, Quincy Brown, a birthday to remember last Saturday (29May21) by serving up a special message from Dwayne Johnson.
The rap mogul organised the star-studded bash in Beverly Hills, but it was someone who wasn't actually there who stole the show.
Diddy, who couldn't make it to the party, arranged for a special video featuring the birthday boy's movie hero Johnson to be played as guests like Chris Brown, Drake, Keke Palmer, Andy Hilfiger, and Lil Rel Howery watched on.
According to MailOnline, DJ Livia, DJ Stacks, and DJ Carisma were hired as the night's entertainment while Diddy created cocktails by DeLeon and Ciroc - companies he owns.
Diddy also missed his son, Christian's 23rd birthday celebrations in April, but showed up as a hologram.
The rap mogul was dealing with business in Florida and couldn't make the Los Angeles bash in person, so he got creative with technology and sent his virtual self.
Meanwhile, Diddy was present when he threw a birthday party for Quality Control Music CEO Pierre "Pee" Thomas at Fox Theatre early this month.
The event, however, was marred by a scary incident where a dancer caught fire when her feathered skirt was ignited by a candle.
"There were dancers on tables wearing feathered skirts, and one dropped down to get her eagle on and caught on fire from a candle," a witness claimed. "Nothing was left but her string thong. She was panicking and quickly extinguished. I was trying to get video, but I couldn't act quick enough, that's how quickly it was put out. I just got the smoke after."
