AceShowbiz - Keira Knightley has spoken out about sexual harassment in a new interview. When looking back on her past experiences, the "Pride and Prejudice" beauty revealed that she realized she's a victim too after learning from other women's experiences.

Gracing the July cover of Harper's Bazaar U.K., the two-time Oscar nominee reflected in her profile story on the extent of harassment on women. During the interview, the 36-year-old revealed that she had been sexually harassed. "Yes! I mean, everybody has. Literally, I don't know anyone who hasn't been," she pointed out.

"In some way, whether it's being flashed at, or groped, or some guy saying they're going to slit your throat, or punching you in the face, or whatever it is," Keira went on to explain more about some various types of sexual harassment. The "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl" actress then insisted, "Everybody has."

Elsewhere in the interview, the British actress also admitted that it was "depressing" to realize the precautions women subconsciously take when they have to go out alone. "It was when women started listing all the precautions they take when they walk home to make sure they're safe, and I thought, I do every single one of them, and I don't even think about it. It's f**king depressing," she stated, before adding, "I think that's why I'm enjoying listening to [Manda Scott's] Boudica."

After a "lone male stranger" coincidentally approached Keira and the interviewer, asking the "Atonement" star if she attended the school nearby before following the two during their conversation, the actress said, "I think it's quite interesting talking about this while being chased around." She then noted, "I love that politician who said there ought to be a curfew for men and men were outraged, and you think - but there's a curfew for women and there always has been."

Keira has previously opened up about being sexualized as an actress, admitting she is "not interested" in filming sex scenes, especially ones being directed by men. During an interview on the CHANEL "Connects" podcast in January, she stressed, "I don't want it to be those horrible sex scenes where you're all greased up and everybody's grunting. I'm not interested in doing that." She also admitted that she felt "very uncomfortable now trying to portray the male gaze."
