AceShowbiz - Matthew Perry may have moved on from Molly Hurwitz. Just days after announcing that he and his then-fiancee have called off their engagement, the former "Friends" star sparked romance rumors with his longtime assistant Briana Brancato.
The dating speculations emerged after the 51-year-old shared on Instagram a picture of himself and Briana getting close on a sofa as they promoted his hoodies. In the caption, he wrote, "Ready for the long weekend and an even longer bath! After a week like this, I know my team is! Shop the entire collection and let the relaxation begin!"
Fans were quick to speculate that the two may be an item. One user in particular wrote, "Maybe its just a coincidence when his engagement is called off and he posts with another girl 'friend.' " Another individual wondered, "That's his girlfriend?" A third, meanwhile, suggested that they made a "handsome couple."
Matthew's rumored new flame also put out a similar picture on her own Instagram page. "My boss just released a new limited edition merchandise collection. Get yours and gear up for the Reunion. :)," so read the accompanying message, to which the "17 Again" actor replied, "hey! That's a good picture."
Matthew himself confirmed his breakup from Molly on Tuesday, June 1. "Sometimes things just don't work out and this is one of them," he said in a statement to PEOPLE. "I wish Molly the best."
Just one day after "The Odd Couple" alum broke the news, Molly was caught on camera taking a stroll in Los Angeles without her engagement ring. In a picture surfacing online, she was seen walking her two dogs in a flannel, jean shorts and sneakers. Although she already ditched the sparkle, she still used a leash with the "Friends" logo that could be a reminder of her now-ex.
Matthew and Molly started dating in 2018. They then got engaged in November 2020. "I decided to get engaged," he told PEOPLE at that time. "Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time."
