AceShowbiz - Kristen Bell has been reunited with her parents for the first time in more than a year.
The actress has been kept apart from her parents amid the coronavirus crisis, but she's taken to Instagram to reveal they recently reunited to celebrate her dad's birthday together.
Alongside some photographs of their celebrations, Kristen wrote, "Saw my parents for the first time in over a year."
"It was my dad's birthday, so we took him out to a nice dinner and he told me that since it was his birthday he absolutely did not have to take his mask off for the pictures I wanted."
"I get my stubbornness from him. Happy birthday, dad. I'm so glad you're mine. (sic)"
The "Frozen II" star has spent much of the Covid crisis home with husband Dax Shepard and their daughters Delta, six, and Lincoln, eight.
She recently said she and Dax checked in with a couples counsellor every couple of years to keep their romance on track and she admitted they felt it was time for a virtual visit when they started to lose it as the pandemic dragged on last summer (20).
"Everyone's proclivities are kind of bubbling over because we're all caged in with each other," the actress told People. "Dax and I, when we started this pandemic, were at a point in our marriage where we definitely needed a little therapy brush-up."
"Every couple of years, we're like, 'We're being very antagonistic towards each other, and we don't want that'. We go back to therapy and figure out what I'm not doing that's best for you and what you're not doing that's best for me, and how we can serve this team goal better. It's been incredibly helpful."
