AceShowbiz - The "Vanderpump Rules" firing is apparently a huge blow for both Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute. The two TV stars, who were let go from the Bravo reality TV series over past racist behavior against "Vanderpump Rules" co-star Faith Stowers, allegedly are "distraught" following the firing.

"Not only are Stassi and Kristen distraught, several of the other cast members are as well. They know the show will never be the same," an insider spills to E! News. "Stassi has been an emotional wreck. She's having a very hard time and has no idea what to do. She feels completely lost and is very disgusted by her actions in the past."

The source continues, "Stassi and Kristen have spoken about their actions, and have been in touch about what's going on. They both feel awful about what happened."

Another source shares that "Stassi had, of course, been upset over the weekend but she's weathered social media backlash before and was hoping if she apologized, it would pass." The informant adds, "Stassi and Kristen are completely distraught. They're in shock and crying."

Bravo announced its decision to cut ties with Stassi and Kristen in a statement on Tuesday, June 9. "Bravo and Evolution Media confirmed today that Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni will not be returning to 'Vanderpump Rules'," read th statement. Both Boyens and Caprioni also took the fall due to their past racist tweets which resurfaced in January.

The pair were accused by Stowers of racial profilling her one week earlier. During an Instagram Live chat with "Floribama Shore" star Candace Rice, Faith revealed that the two made a police report against her over a crime she did not do. "It was just funny, because they thought it was me because it was a black woman with a weave," she spilled. "So, they just assumed it would be me, and they called the cops on me."

Faith's revelation prompted both Stassi and Kristen to issue an apology. Stassi said in her statement, "I have grown significantly from the person I was then, and I am still filled with remorse and regret for the hurt I caused," as Kristen clarified in a separate statement, "I'm ashamed, embarrassed, and incredibly sorry. I will do better. I have to do better."
