Jesse McCartney's former bandmate has passed away at the age of 34 in a California hospital after losing his battle with the killer virus amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

AceShowbiz - Former child star Chris Trousdale has died at the age of 34 after losing his battle with the coronavirus.

The "Dream Street" singer/actor passed away at a hospital in Burbank, California on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 after suffering complications related to COVID-19, reports TMZ.

Trousdale was just eight when he began his career acting in a touring production of "Les Miserables", and he went on to appear in the Broadway revival in the early 1990s.

He was a member of children's concert group The Broadway Kids before rising to fame as a member of short-lived boy band Dream Street, which also featured Jesse McCartney.

The "It Happens Every Time" hitmakers split just three years later and Trousdale went on to embark on a solo career, while returning to his acting roots for appearances on shows like "Days of Our Lives", "Austin & Ally", "Lucifer", and "Shake It Up".
