Lawrence Schlossman, the co-host of 'Throwing Fits' podcast, reveals the ex-boyfriend of Kylie Jenner was upset since it was the 'Umbrella' hitmaker who wanted to keep their fling under the radar.

AceShowbiz - Travis Scott (II) was upset for a long time when his secret relationship with Rihanna got exposed in 2015. Former Complex editor Lawrence Schlossman has recently gotten candid about how the "Highest in the Room" hitmaker reacted to him making public his romance with the "Umbrella" hitmaker, revealing that he grumbled over it for years.

In a Tuesday, May 26 episode of "Throwing Fits" podcast, Schlossman and his co-host James Harris were talking to journalist Jonah Weiner when the topic about celebrities who hated what they wrote about them was brought up. Sharing his own experience, he recalled the time he broke the news about the 28-year-old rapper and Rihanna, "which they told me not to do."

"Apparently, what [Complex editor Joe] LaPuma, our boy Joe The Puma, told me was that it hurt Complex's relationship with Travis," Schlossman continued spilling on what happened afterward. "This was in 2015/16 I wrote this. But apparently, for the next couple of years, he would complain about that."

On the reason why Scott was fuming, Schlossman claimed, "It's not because he's like, 'Don't tell anyone I'm smashing Rihanna.' " It was rather the other way round. Schlossman pointed out, "It's because Rihanna's like, 'Don't tell anyone that I'm smashing Travis Scott, please.' [It's] obviously embarrassing as f**k."

Scott reportedly met Rihanna for the first time during New York Fashion Week in 2013. Two years later, they collaborated on her song "B***h Better Have My Money". By September the same year, they were rumored to have been hooking up as she was spotted joining him at his private party in New York City.

While neither one of them confirmed nor denied the swirling speculations, Schlossman put their relationship under the spotlight in the cover story of Complex's December 2015 issue. He noted that he was able to "get him to describe her in three words: 'creative,' 'inspiring,' and, after a long pause (and some assistance from Corey), 'muse.' "

Scott moved on to date Kylie Jenner in 2017. The two share a daughter, 2-year-old Stormi, together before they called it quits in 2019.
