AceShowbiz - Lele Pons has gone candid about how she really found out that her father was gay. The YouTube star delved into her close relationship with her father Luis in the second episode of her new documentary series, "The Secret Life of Lele Pons", revealing that she once walked in on him sleeping with another man.

Claiming to have known about her father's sexuality since she was just a little girl, the 23-year-old recounted an accidental moment that brought them closer together. "When I really, really found out he was gay, I came to his room and I saw him actually, like, sleeping with a man," she spilled. "And I was, like, 10 years old."

"And that for me was, like, 'Oh, my God, I can't believe it. Like, I saw, my dad.' And that was very traumatizing, because I didn't have to see that so vividly," Lele went on sharing. Still, she credited the incident for their closeness. "I've seen everything, he's seen everything," she stated. "That happened to me too -- I think he came in one time, to me. So, we owe each other, OK? We're even."

Her acceptance of her father being gay, however, did not come easy. "It was hard for me at first," she admitted. "It was hard because I was repeating him saying he was gay until it sounded right in my head." To make matter worse, she accidentally blurted out the fact in front of her class at her Catholic school.

"Impulsivity is a huge part of OCD," the Latin pop star elaborated on the story. "And when I found out that my dad was gay, I said it during a presentation in my class. And everybody was, like, 'This has nothing to do with what's going on.' And the teacher was, like - especially, the teacher was very Catholic - she was, like, 'Come here.' "

Assuring that she did not judge her father for his sexual orientation, Lele later added, "I tried so hard to understand him, and eventually I did. I said, 'OK, you're gay. I want to understand how you feel and what made you decide to marry my mom and what made you decide to tell me now?' I just want to understand everything."
