The TV personality details how she felt after being accused of getting arrested for an involvement in a sex trafficking crime back in March in a new post on O Magazine.

AceShowbiz - Oprah Winfrey once again addresses the sex trafficking allegations against her. Taking to her own platform O Magazine, the TV personality detailed how she was first alarmed about the accusation back in March.

Oprah revealed that she was reading a book in bed when she received a call about her making headlines due to the allegations. "I can't and don't want to imagine an uglier accusation," so she wrote, adding that she was confused when she first read about it. "But I'm in my bed in my pj's and socks, and somehow #OprahArrested is a thing. My worst fear realized. Being slandered, accused of a crime I didn't commit."

She went on saying that the accusation triggered her as it reminded her to the abuse she suffered as a child. "Lies are like those lashes. As a young girl, I never got angry; whippings made me sad," she shared. "The same is true today. Except the sadness isn't for myself--It's for what I see the world becoming."

"How easy it is to slice, destroy, cancel someone with vitriol. How easily people swallow and spread that vitriol with gleeful memes," she continued. "To paraphrase Genesis 50:20: What man intended for evil, God intended for good."

Rumors that she was arrested on federal charges of sex trafficking emerged in March. According to the rumors, the 66-year-old television producer was running a sex ring with Harvey Weinstein. The disgraced movie mogul was allegedly the one who reported it to authorities as he's accused of snitching on everybody, including the former daytime talk show queen, to get less time in jail ahead of his sentencing.

The rumors further claimed that Oprah's mansion in Boca Raton had been raided in relation to the case and feds found miles of tunnels under her house. Additionally, Tom Hanks and Oprah's best friend Gayle King were said to be involved in the sex ring as well.

Oprah quickly shut down the rumors on Twitter, writing, "Just got a phone call that my name is trending. And being trolled for some awful FAKE thing. It's NOT TRUE. Haven't been raided, or arrested. Just sanitizing and self distancing with the rest of the world. Stay safe everybody."
