Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose take to their social media to share throwback pictures of their younger selves with their embattled mother to celebrate Mother's Day.

AceShowbiz - Actress Lori Loughlin's daughter put aside the college admission scandal hanging over the family to wish her mum a happy Mother's Day on Sunday, May 10, 2020 - and make it clear she still loves her amid all the drama.

Olivia Jade Giannulli and her older sister, Isabella Rose, both landed coveted spots at the University of Southern California (USC) thanks to bribes their parents allegedly paid to college administrators, and the recent leak of a 'staged' photo of the girls posing on indoor rowing machines, reportedly taken to help boost their chances of getting into USC as the sporting scholars they weren't, deeply embarrassed the siblings - but they still have a lot of love for their mum.

Instagram regular Olivia Jade, who has been silent on social media in recent weeks, returned to the photo-sharing site on Sunday to honour her mother, calling Loughlin "my best friend," and adding, "(You) have held my hand every day for 20 years making it look like motherhood is an easy job."

"You are one of a kind," she continued. "I love you so so so much & cannot wait to give you all the love in the world today & forever. Thank you for being you. You are the most special person to me."

Olivia Jade also posted a string of throwback photos of herself and Lori, 55.

"I am so blessed to be your daughter and so proud to call you mom," she concluded the note.

Sister Isabella Rose, 21, also honoured her embattled mother on International Mother's Day, sharing baby photos with her mum.

"The strength mothers have is unparalleled, I think they might be the closest thing we have to superheroes," she wrote. "Happy Mother's Day Mama, I love you."

Loughlin's lawyers recently requested the charges against the actress be dropped, but the judge overseeing the case dismissed their plea on Friday, May 8, 2020 and the "Fuller House" star and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, still face claims they tried to land their children elite university spots by allegedly bribing education administrators through a fake charity scheme concocted by Rick Singer - the ringleader in the case.

U.S. District Judge Nathaniel Gorton also denied the couple's efforts to have all the FBI recordings linked to their case ruled inadmissible, because they insisted they were obtained dishonestly. The ruling paves the way for a trial to begin on October 5, 2020.

Loughlin and Giannulli face three separate counts of bribery, fraud, and money laundering.

They have both made it clear from the day she was arrested in March 2019 that she did not know the payments were bribes.
