The two rappers' feud is ignited after Meek throws a jab at the Mexican star, who just releases a new single, and his snitching scandal prior to his record-breaking Instagram Live session.

AceShowbiz - Meek Mill and 6ix9ine a.k.a. Tekashi69 were involved in an online back-and-forth after Meek made snitching comments on Tekashi on Friday, May 8 following the release of his new music video for "Gooba". Tekashi went on Instagram Live session, which broke records after gaining 2 milion views, and prior to that, Meek took a jab at the rainbow-haired rapper on his Twitter account.
"I hope that rat going live to apologize to the people he told on or the victim.....," so Meek said. "Y'all forgot that fast a 'rat' killed nipsey [hussle] he wasn't suppose to be on the streets! That's the only thing ima day because he's dead... left his baby mom and child like a coward as targets!"
6ix9ine caught wind of the comment which was posted on The Shade Room's Instagram account. Taking on the comment section, 6ix9ine clapped back, "Imagine having a new born baby come into the world & be pressed about a Mexican with rainbow hair."
The response didn't stop Meek from taunting Tekashi even further. "S**t superrrrr trashhhhhhhhhhh .... you gone up a 100 shots. stop turn Durkio and nav back on!" he tweeted, seemingly after listening to Tekashi's new single.
"N***a was sending hits on n***s wit real killers we don't feel sorry for you we don't understand ... you was sending hits on camera!!" he added in a separate post. "I got wayyyyyyyyyyyy more money too don't even bring that up ... I don't do the internet numbers we do the bank!"
Additionally, Meek took to his Instagram page to post an old freestyle and wrote, "I been goat," in the caption. Tekashi noticed the post and quickly made use of it to troll him back. Using Meek's ex Nicki Minaj in his diss, Tekashi commented underneath the post, "Imagine being this pressed. Nicki don't want you no more."
Meek didn't personally counter-attack Tekashi for the shade. Instead, he seemed like he wanted to stop the banter. "I'm sorry I lash out sometimes when I see people playing like that lol I been locked up too many times like a animal Sam change my passcode and don't give it me nomore," he said.
