The 'Material Girl' hitmaker makes the bizarre claim in a social media video titled 'Quarantine Diaries No. 14', but the CDC points out that a positive test does not necessarily make her immune to coronavirus.

AceShowbiz - Madonna is going to set herself free amid the coronavirus pandemic. The "Like a Virgin" hitmaker raised eyebrows on Thursday, April 30 when she revealed through her latest "Quarantine Diaries" video her plan to go for a long drive with her window open upon finding out that she already has COVID-19 antibodies.
"I took a test the other day, and I found out that I have the antibodies," spilled the 61-year-old Queen of Pop in the noir-themed clip she uploaded on Instagram. She went on to declare, "So tomorrow, I'm just going to go for a long drive in a car and roll down the window, and I'm going to breathe in the COVID-19 air. Yup. I hope the sun is shining."
While the "Papa Don't Preach" singer was seemingly confident in exposing herself to the virus following the antibody revelation, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) has specified in its official site that having antibodies does not mean a person is immune to the novel virus.
"A positive test result shows you have antibodies that likely resulted from an infection with SARS-CoV-2, or possibly a related coronavirus," the CDC noted. "It's unclear if those antibodies can provide protection (immunity) against getting infected again. This means that we do not know at this time if antibodies make you immune to the virus."
Antibodies aside, Madonna additionally shared her thoughts on being stuck in self-isolation in her bizarre video. "I am so confused in my own confusion, so bewildered in my incapacity to express my disappointment, so unwilling to fight with people I have been in quarantine with, because I know the futility of it," she said while sitting behind a typewriter.
"And yet I want to taste the satisfaction of being known, of being understood. It amazes me that we care so much about what people think or winning people’s favor or being right in an argument," she continued. "I hate myself for this pettiness."
Having stated that she wants "to be released from the bondage of giving a f**k," the ex-wife of Hollywood star Sean Penn went on to share some positivity amid the global crisis. "Here's the good news: tomorrow's another day and I'm going to wake up and I'm going to feel differently," she concluded.
