Poking fun at a 2005 shootout involving men allegedly sent by Jeezy to rob him, the 'I Get the Bag' rapper shares a meme likening him to a man who pulls a move like a spy in action movie.

AceShowbiz - Gucci Mane apparently doesn't feel the slightest guilt after killing a person in an attempted robbery in 2005. The shootout left Pookie Loc, a CTE affiliate of Young Jeezy, dead. Now, more than a decade later, he poked fun at the incident with a meme he shared via Instagram.

On Sunday, April 19, he posted a clip of a man who wears a mask while pulling a move like a spy in a scene of action movie. "This was Gucci Mane when Jeezy sent those dudes to take his chain," read a message above the message. Agreeing with it, the 40-year-old star wrote in the caption of his post, "but fa real tho."

Back when they were both upcoming artists, Gucci and Jezzy collaborated on a song, "Icy", which Gucci released as his first single in May 2005. Tensions grew between them as Jeezy claimed he was never paid his royalties for the song. Jeezy then released the controversial song "Stay Strapped", placing a $10,000 bounty on Gucci's chain.

Later in the same month, four men set up Gucci at a stripper's home and attempted to rob him. Gucci shot one of the assailants, Pookie, who was revealed to have a tie with Jeezy. The man was found dead at a nearby middle school. Gucci was subsequently charged with murder, but the DeKalb County district attorney's office dropped the murder charge in January 2006 due to insufficient evidence.

Gucci poking fun at the 2005 shooting comes after he landed in hot water for wishing his haters death from coronavirus. The Alabama native, who was born Radric Delantic Davis, tweeted earlier this month, "I pray my haters die of corona virus."

It's not clear what prompted his angry-sounding post, but people called him out for his insensitive remark, especially since he posted it on Easter Sunday. "Man you need some online church services and a hug. This is the worst timed tweet ever. There are people actually mourning the loss of loved ones now, due to the virus. Bad movie big homie," American mixed martial artist Gerald Harris schooled Gucci.
