AceShowbiz - Nikki Bella is finding pregnancy in lockdown tough as the coronavirus pandemic prevents her from celebrating milestones with her nearest and dearest.
The 36-year-old and her twin sister Brie Bella are both pregnant, with the former wrestler announcing she was expecting her first child with her fiance and former "Dancing With the Stars" partner Artem Chigvintsev back in January 2020.
Things quickly changed for the retired WWE star, however, as from last month, March 2020, Americans have been told to stay indoors and practice social distancing in a bid to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she confessed, "This isn't what I imagined my first pregnancy to be."
Nikki explained, "I had a really important ultrasound appointment and Artem couldn't come. I had to go by myself. I was literally in the car, crying. I was like, 'Just walk in, you're fine.' "
Brie, who is self-isolating with Nikki, Artem, her husband, Bryan Danielson, and their two-year-old daughter Birdie, is finding her second pregnancy tougher than her first.
"This pregnancy has been a lot harder than when I was pregnant with Birdie," she said, adding, "just being pregnant and having a toddler" is tough without the added hardship of a global crisis.
Brie went on to share that WWE star Bryan, who wrestles under the name Daniel Bryan, was quarantined last month, March 2020 as a precaution after returning home from a WWE Smackdown show in Florida.
"When Bryan came home, he got a hotel and he actually was having some breathing issues," Brie recalled. "So he had a test done but he tested negative for the virus. And then I was like, 'Alright, now you're allowed to come home.' "
Brie is due to give birth in late July, while Nikki's due date is in early August.
