The Swiftie named Holly Turner shares that the 'Shake It Off' hitmaker gifted her with $3,000 after she lamented on her Tumblr page about her financial crisis amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has kept a fan's dream to keep living in New York City alive amid the coronavirus crisis. On Wednesday night, March 25, a Swiftie by the name of Holly Turner revealed that she has received $3,000 from the "Shake It Off" hitmaker after she lamented over her financial struggle caused by the global pandemic.

"i made a post on tumblr about how i was scared i wouldn't be able to stay living in NYC because of what corona has done to the music industry," the freelance music photographer tweeted her story. "@taylorswift13 literally single-handedly saved my ability to stay here. i cannot even believe my eyes right now."

In the tweet, Turner attached a screenshot of the donation made by Taylor Nation, LLC. Along with the notification was a message from the "Lover" singer that read, "Holly, You've always been there for me. I want to be there for you now. I hope this helps. Love, Taylor."

Turner further shared the story behind Swift's generous donation to her in an interview with E! News. "I saw that she had just started following me on tumblr, so I was jumping around and screaming about that, and then I saw that the top post on Tumblr was about the fact that I was financially struggling and I thought, 'There's no way she's following me because of that,' " she recalled. "Then I started losing my mind even more."

Suffering from events' postponements or cancellations because of the lockdown measure, Turner admitted that she "wasn't going to be able to stay in [her] apartment after May" if she has not got Swift's donation. "I have been working my entire life to be able to live in New York City and I thought that was going to be taken, and she saved that for me," she added. "So, I am just so, so, so grateful."

Now that her stay in the Big Apple was secured thanks to the "Bad Blood" songstress, Turner was eager to pursue her other dream. "My biggest dream in the entire world would be to be able to photograph Taylor Swift," she stated, adding that she loved the singer because her ability to be "able to kind of stand-up in the face of what everyone was throwing her way."

The photographer was not the only fan Swift has helped in this difficult time. Another lucky fan, Samantha Jacobson, has also received $3,000 from the "Back to December" singer. "I was just speechless. I couldn't believe someone I had looked up to and love and respected for so long has reached out with such generosity," she told PEOPLE about it. "It's all gonna go to bills right now ... I applied for unemployment and I'm looking to pick up a temp job, so this is really helpful right now at a time of uncertainty."
