The 12-year-old actress, who can also be seen in the upcoming 'Black Widow' movie, will star opposite lead actor Alexander Molony in the highly-anticipated movie.

AceShowbiz - Milla Jovovich's daughter Ever Anderson, 12, has been cast as Wendy in the upcoming live-action remake of "Peter Pan".

According to Variety, Ever has signed on to portray the female lead in the highly anticipated film, opposite Alexander Molony as Peter.

This won't be the first acting gig for Ever, the daughter of Milla and director Paul W.S. Anderson, as she's already starred as a younger version of her mother's character in "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter", and can soon be seen playing a younger Scarlett Johansson in "Black Widow".

Speaking to Britain's The Independent newspaper recently about her daughter's acting ambitions and appearing in the "Resident Evil" movie, Milla said: "She's very serious about acting and has worked very hard. She goes to classes and learns her lines so I had no objections about her playing a young me in the film, with no dialogue or anything, just a day of work."

However, she added: "I understand why people don't want their kids to do it. When she first asked, I just kept putting obstacles in her path, but after she showed me her commitment and hard work, what am I going to do?"

The live-action "Peter Pan" will be helmed by Pete's Dragon director David Lowery, who also co-wrote the script alongside Toby Halbrooks.

A release date has yet to be confirmed, but Variety noted that the film will hit cinemas, rather than being released solely on Disney's streaming service Disney+.
