During a new interview, the One Direction member has also talked about his sophomore album, describing it as 'the sound of a 25-year-old navigating having sex and feeling sad.'

AceShowbiz - Harry Styles has insisted he wouldn't have much luck with relationships if he wasn't famous - nine years after sharing the same insecurities.

The "Adore You" hitmaker earned legions of fans as a member of boyband One Direction, and went on to enjoy solo success and become one of the biggest artists in the world after the group went on hiatus in 2016.

And while Harry's enjoyed high-profile relationships with stars including Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner, he thinks his love life would have been a lot different if he'd opted for a different career path.

Speaking to Radio.com, Harry was asked recently, "If you weren't a music artist what do you think you'd be?" to which he cheekily replied, "Virgin."

The comment mirrors the same answer Harry gave back in 2011, when the then-17-year-old admitted, "If I wasn't in the band I reckon I'd be a virgin."

Elsewhere in the interview, the "Watermelon Sugar" singer described his chart-topping sophomore album as "the sound of a 25-year-old navigating having sex and feeling sad," adding, "I think I'll look back on the time of making this album as a very fond period of my life, just because I feel I learnt so much about myself."

"Probably a lot to do with having time to do that, I took a little longer to make the album," he reflected, comparing this project to his 2017 self-titled effort.

Harry will take "Fine Line" on the road, opening his "Love On Tour" jaunt in Birmingham, England on 15 April.
