After exchanging a 'quick hi' with her ex-husband at Guy Osprey's Oscars after-party, the 'Friends' alum 'spent a lot of time' talking to the 'Mad Men' actor, probably to let Brad 'know she was having a great time.'

AceShowbiz - Following their short, but sweet interaction at the 2020 SAG Awards in January, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt bumped into each other again at Guy Osprey's Oscars 2020 after-party earlier this month. But after exchanging a "quick hi" with her ex-husband, the 51-year-old actress spent a lot of portion of the night chatting with Jon Hamm instead.
Weighing in on Jennifer's interactions with Brad and Jon, experienced relationship and celebrity dating expert Lara Asprey has now said that it's possible the "Friends" alum was trying to make her ex-husband jealous by hanging out with the former "Mad Men" star.
"When your ex is Brad Pitt, it's hard for him to get jealous because he's Brad Pitt, but Jen is also beautiful and I think she probably was a little bit," Lara tells Express.co.uk. "She said hi to him and she was very gracious but she spent the whole night talking to Jon Hamm and they get on famously, they've known each other for years."
The VIP matchmaker adds, "I do think there was a little bit of, he'll see I'm having such a great time." She goes on explaining, "You know when you're out with your friends and you see a cute guy and you giggle to make sure it looks like you're having fun?"
"I get the feeling that's the impression she was keen to give off, that she was having a great time and she wanted Brad to know it," Lara shares her opinion. "I'm sure she did get on with Jon Hamm but that’s what was going on."
A source previously told The Sun about Jennifer's interactions with the two Hollywood actors at the Oscars bash, "I saw her go over to Brad and say a quick hi to him - then she spent a lot of time chatting to Jon. They were talking for ages and seemed to know each other really well. Everyone noticed."
Page Six additionally dished that Jennifer simply "congratulated" Brad on his Oscar win at the after-party. A source told the site, "Aniston congratulated Pitt on his win, they didn't hang out long."
Jennifer and Brad tied the knot in 2000, but they split and got divorced in 2005. She was then married to Justin Theroux in 2015, while the Oscar-winning actor moved on by going public with his relationship with Angelina Jolie, whom he married in 2014. After breaking up with their respective spouses, Jennifer and Brad have been rumored giving their romance another try.
Addressing their romance rumors on the red carpet of the SAG Awards, Jen told ET's Keltie Knight and Nischelle Turner, "It's hysterical," before adding, "But what else are they going to talk about?"
