Tickets to the official memorial service for the late basketball icon at Staples Center are selling as much as $224, but more than 88,000 people have already registered for the event anyway.

AceShowbiz - Photos of Kobe Bryant and Gianna's grave site have surfaced online, a week after they were laid to rest in private funeral. The former Los Angeles Lakers player and his daughter were buried side-by-side at Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona Del Mar, California.

Obtained by Daily Mail, the pictures show a private "family estate" burial plot where heart rosaries are placed on their headstone. The private plot is surrounded by a 4-foot wall and has its own gate which can be locked. It is located at the very top of the cemetery and looks directly down onto Newport Coast toward Kobe's family home and the Pacific Ocean.

The site is covered in newly planted purple and yellow flowers, which are representative of Kobe's Lakers team colors. The site is also decorated with colorful flower pinwheels, balloons and Valentine's Day decorations.

The private burial plot is reportedly one of the most expensive in the cemetery. An employee at Pacific View Mortuary & Memorial Park says the price for a private family estate plot starts at $450,000.

"Vanessa and the family wanted a private service to mourn their loss," a source previously told ET of why they kept the ceremony private. "The ceremony was extremely hard for everyone as it's still hard for them to grasp they lost two beautiful souls."

Meanwhile, Kobe's fans can bid final farewell to the former NBA superstar in a public memorial service which is set to be held on February 24 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. But instead of giving the tickets for free, the Lakers' organization and Kobe's family have chosen to sell tickets to the event.

The tickets, which are available for register at Ticketmaster, are priced in three tiers, $224 for one, $224 for two or $24.02 for one. No. 24 is Kobe's jersey number, while No. 2 is representing Gigi's. According to TMZ, more than 88,000 people have registered for the memorial tickets in the first hours.

People who register will receive a code Tuesday and on Wednesday at 10 A.M. the tickets will be released for sale. If the demand exceeds the number of tickets, fans will be selected at random to participate in the sale. Proceeds from the ticket sales will go to Mamba and Mambacita Sports Foundation.

The event will not be shown on the big screens outside Staples Center, but people will be able to watch online and on TV. The Lakers are urging fans not to go to the Staples Center if they don't have a ticket for the event.
