The 'Empire' actress is originally set to walk down the aisle on April 4 but the bride-to-be and her fiance have since made an adjustment to their wedding date.

AceShowbiz - Taraji P. Henson and Kelvin Hayden have delayed their upcoming wedding in a bid to avoid bad weather.
The couple set a provisional date for April 4, 2020, but has since altered plans to avoid a washout, the 49-year-old actress told U.S. TV show "Extra".
"I mentioned one date… it was 4/4/20 and we were really going to do it 4/4/20, but my wedding planner was like, 'Okay, in case it rains, we'll have umbrellas'…and I was like, 'You know what, never mind about April, let's move it later,' " the "Empire" actress said.
She did confirm the nuptials are still on, but wasn't sharing the exact date.
"I am excited. I usually don't get excited until it's closer to me. It still seems so far off."
The star previously shared her hopes for the big day during an appearance on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" last September, teasing, "I told my wedding planner make it pretty, fun, make sure the food is good and a bomb DJ."
"No bridal party, I'm not a bridezilla… please, I just want to say my vows in front of the people that I love. Eat good food and have fun. That's it!"
The "Hidden Figures" star became engaged to former American footballer Kelvin in May 2018 after more than two years of dating.
