Oliver and Jonathan from the rocker's marriage to estranged wife Paulina Porizkova are going to design the headstone to mark their father's resting place.

AceShowbiz - Ric Ocasek's sons with estranged wife Paulina Porizkova have been tasked with designing the headstone for the rocker's final resting place.

The Cars frontman passed away in September 2019, aged 75, and on Thursday, January 16, 2020, model Porizkova shared an Instagram photo of their eldest, 26-year-old Oliver, visiting Ocasek's gravesite.

Noting the lack of a permanent headstone in the image, she wrote, "A simple little mushroom taken off our porch, for now, marks the resting place of their dad."

"The real thing is being designed jointly by both of them: a fitting tribute to the father they adored."

Porizkova, who also shared 21-year-old Jonathan with her late ex, added, "Thank you my darling Oliver for letting me share this private moment."

Ocasek also had four other children from his two previous marriages.

Porizkova's post comes as she fights for a share of the singer's estate, even though they were in the process of divorcing.

They had separated in 2018 after 28 years of marriage, but they continued to live together right up until the musician's death.

However, Ocasek had made a point to remove the model from his will in the weeks leading up to his demise.
