AceShowbiz - Mug shot of R. Kelly's girlfriend Joycelyn Savage has been released by Chicago Police Department, days after her arrest for an altercation with another of the singer's girlfriends, Azriel Clary. In the photo which has been circulating online, the 24-year-old looks sad and her lips are pouting.
Joycelyn's mug shot has since got social media users sympathizing with her. "She looks on the verge of tears...," one commented on the photo. Another prays that "she goes back home.... her eyes look sad and lost."
Another similarly commented, "I pray this young lady leaves all that mess behind and move on with her life." Someone else added, "Praying and wishing her the Best Rest of Her Life."
Joycelyn's mother and sister have also shown their support for her, despite supposedly having been living apart for a while now. The two just debuted new matching tattoos in Joy's honor. The tattoos, which were inked just below the two ladies' collarbone, feature a rose with "Pure joy" as its stem.
Joy's sister Jailyn Savage, who posted the images on her Instagram account, wrote in the caption, "Pure Joy I Am My Sisters Keeper Unconditionally We Love you Joy!"
Joycelyn and Azriel were involved in an altercation, which turned physical, at R. Kelly's house at Trump Tower in Chicago on Wednesday, January 8. Police were called to the property to investigate the incident, but Joycelyn had reportedly fled the scene before officers could question her.
She eventually surrendered to cops later that night, and was arrested and booked for the altercation. She was charged with misdemeanor domestic battery after allegedly punching Azriel in the fight. She was released after promising to return to court for her next hearing on January 23.
Azriel also accused Joycelyn of having sex with her when she was still underage.
