The 'Counting On' couple first announced they were expecting their first child together back in August of 2019, saying that they 'look forward to taking on this new adventure.'

AceShowbiz - John David Duggar and Abbie Duggar can now officially call themselves first-time parents. On Tuesday morning, January 7, the "Counting On" stars welcomed their first child together, a baby girl they named Grace Annette Duggar.
Two days after the baby's arrival, the Duggars introduced their newborn daughter, who is named after Abbie's middle name, through a post on their joint Instagram handle. "Welcome to our world Grace Annette (Gracie)," they noted along with two pictures, one of which showed off a close look at the sleeping infant.
In the post, the proud parents have also detailed that Gracie was "7 pounds 11 oz and 20 3/4 inches long" at time of her birth. They added, "We are quite smitten by our new bundle of joy and are soaking in all of her little newborn snuggles!"
In addition to the Instagram post, the happy couple expressed their joy on their family website. "Our lives have changed forever with the arrival of our baby girl," they gushed. "She is a beautiful gift from God! We are so blessed the Lord has given her to us. It's still surreal to know that we are really parents, but it's a great new adventure that we are excited to take on together!"
John and Abbie tied the knot in November 2018. "We are so excited to be married! It was a beautiful moment and we so appreciate our friends and family for sharing this day with us," they said in a statement. "Most of all we are thankful to Christ for bringing us together. This is going to be an amazing journey!"
Nearly a year into their marriage, the lovebirds announced they were expecting a child together. In August 2019, they announced, "We are on Cloud 9 about welcoming our own little Duggar into the world!!! It really is amazing to think about being parents and having our own child to raise. We are thankful that God has blessed us with this new life and we look forward to taking on this new adventure!"
