AceShowbiz - Rumors have it that wedding bells are ringing for Scott Disick and his young girlfriend Sofia Richie. While many are thrilled, one particular person reportedly tries to make Scott re-consider his decision to marry the model.

According to a new report, TV star and Scott's baby mama Kourtney Kardashian is doing her best to stop Scott from putting a ring on Sofia's finger. That prompts her family to be suspicious over her motive, though the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star insists that it has nothing to do with her feelings.

"She swears this is for Scott's best interests and not because she's still in love with him," the source tells Radar Online, adding that "nobody's buying it."

According to the mom of three, Scott and Sofia's fling has been doomed even from the start. "From day one Kourt's been panicking about this relationship, saying it'll end in tears and Sofia's too spaced out and young to be marriage material -- let alone a stepmom to her kids!" the source claims.

It is said that Kourtney is determined to stop that from happening that "she's taken Scott aside and begged him to think twice before putting a ring on this girl’s finger but he's told her to back off and stop being bitter."

Scott allegedly is indeed reluctant when it comes to proposing to the daughter of Lionel Richie, but Kris Jenner has been pushing for an engagement. "Kris is trying to push Scott to propose so that they can capture it on camera, and he is not having any of it," shares the insider. "He wants to do this under his terms, and everyone is getting really impatient."

The source says that "Scott loves Sofia, this is obvious, but he refuses to be forced into anything." But it seems like the "Flip It Like Disick" star has to do it soon, or Sofia "may decide to say 'ciao' to her procrastinating boyfriend."
