AceShowbiz - R. Kelly will have to wait until September (2020) for the first of four sexual abuse cases in Chicago, Illinois.
The "I Believe I Can Fly" hitmaker stands accused of sexually assaulting four females, including three who were reportedly underage, over the span of more than a decade.
On Wednesday, December 04, Cook County Judge Lawrence Flood set the initial trial date, although he left it up to prosecutors to decide by January 22 which of the separate indictments they wanted to try first.
Kelly, who is being held without bond, was not in attendance for the hearing.
It's the third trial added to Kelly's calendar - he will face child pornography and obstruction of justice charges in his native Chicago in April, ahead of a separate federal trial for sex crimes, including kidnapping, in Brooklyn, New York in May.
The embattled singer has pleaded not guilty to all counts.
