AceShowbiz - Actor Clayton Snyder, who played Lizzie McGuire's love interest Ethan Craft in the teen TV show, is engaged.
The 32-year-old actor announced that he had popped the question to long-time girlfriend Allegra Edwards in a sweet post on Instagram on Sunday, December 01.
Alongside two black and white pictures of himself and Allegra gazing into each other's eyes - one from 2009 and one from this year - Clayton wrote: "2009-2019 Dear Allegra. Some things never change. Except, a lot changed, and then it got very similar, but very different, but better, and now, your finger's a bit heavier. And not just because of all the pecan pie. What a Thanksgiving. I love your laugh. I love your heart. I love your family. I love you. Looking forward to wifing you."
He then shared a slideshow of more snaps, and wrote: "A few more moments... A moment shortly after the ask. A moment when she saw my parents were there too. A moment that evening. A moment the day after in Bodega Bay. A moment shortly after that."
"Friends From College" star Allegra posted the same two black and white snaps on her Instagram, and captioned them: "2009/2019 I get to grow older with the love of my life, for the rest of my days. I adore you Clay. Thankful is an understatement."
The engagement news comes as fans continue to speculate about whether or not Clayton will reprise his role as Ethan in the upcoming Disney+ reboot of "Lizzie McGuire".
In a recent interview with E! News, star Hilary Duff teased of the possibility of his return: "I'm pretty sure there's going to be, there's going to be a thing." However, his potential involvement in the revival has yet to be officially confirmed.
