Although she is thrilled to be a part of the 'Fast and Furious' franchise, the 'Bodak Yellow' hitmaker cannot help but admit that shooting her part 'felt like the first day of school.'

AceShowbiz - Cardi B was far more at ease while playing a stripper in "Hustlers" than she was filming her role in the upcoming "Fast and Furious 9".

The former exotic dancer, who appears opposite Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu in the drama, reveals she wasn't nervous going into production because she was familiar with the world depicted in the production.

"It felt really comfortable," the rapper tells Entertainment Weekly. "The setting was in a setting that I used to work at, so it came so natural to me (sic)."

But the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker found the shoot for 2020's "Fast and Furious" instalment far more difficult.

"That was more of a challenge because it was more action that I never did before and it felt like the first day of school — everyone is a senior and you're a freshman, like 'What do I do, guys?'," she adds.

While there is little she can reveal about her character, Cardi describes her as "sassy" and shares that although the shoot was demanding, she's thrilled to be a part of the franchise.

She says, "I know that it is something that is so big to be a part of that I had to be in it."
