AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian became the latest meme on the internet. The reality TV star was roasted online over the frumpy dull suit she wore to Joel Osteen's church to accompany her husband Kanye West who was scheduled to perform with his Gospel choir.
Her picture was photoshopped and added to images from the 2000s. She blended quite well in a 2003 photo that showed basketball players lining up for the NBA draft. In another photo, she was digitally placed among The Original Kings of Comedy from 2000. A third pic placed her right next to Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
"I know @KimKardashian didn't know she was signing up to be First Lady of the church [laugh]. I just know it!" one commented. Another wrote, "This looks like a blazer the church had in their lost & found bin." A third commenter penned, "Kim Kardashian west goes to church with family in her late Dads Outfit." Another deadpanned, "She borrowed Kanye's Jacket, what's the issue."
Many people were perplexed with her choice of outfit. One said, "Why is Kim Kardashian wearing that 3X Tall suit from Harold Pener as her modest outfit for church? Girl, just wear some jeans and a shirt... you'll blend it with the Osteen crowd just fine."
More similar comments: "Kanye dressed her," "I really thought somebody photoshopped that suit on," "Blink twice for help sis," "IM DEAD," "I Am crying," "The internet wins again," "Twitter never fails," "Why she do herself like that?" "LOL, I can't unsee these," "Y'all know Kim don't like to wear clothes. That's probably all she had," "This can't be real."
Kanye and Kim were joined by their 6-year-old daughter North West and youngest son Psalm at the Lakewood Church over the weekend. The couple also met Rodrick Reed, the brother of death row inmate Rodney Reed who recently met Kim when he was granted stay of execution.
The rapper dedicated his song "Father God" to Rodney and his family during his Sunday Service show in Houston, Texas. His band also delivered a cover of Destiny's Child's "Say My Name" which was changed into "Call His Name".
Osteen tweeted, "Thank you @KanyeWest for visiting Lakewood. The Sunday Service Experience was amazing. We loved having you and The Collective. God bless you and your family!"
