AceShowbiz - Kate Beckinsale has responded after reports emerged that she is romantically linked to Jamie Foxx. The "Total Recall" star and the Academy Award-winning actor sparked rumors that they're an item after they were spotted together at the Golden Globe Ambassadors party at West Hollywood hot spot Catch.

Setting things straight on her current relationship status, the English actress took to Instagram on Friday, November 15 to deny that there's anything romantic going on between her and the 51-year-old actor. "Lads night at #hfpa party with @therealadewale @iamjamiefoxx and @jsauluck," she wrote along with a photo of her being sandwiched between Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Jamie. Another photo showed her with Jonathan Voluck.

She added in the caption, "I would like to point out that standing next to someone does not mean I am dating them." Showing her sense of humor, the 46-year-old actress additionally gave a fair explanation, "Currently in line at the dry cleaners and if that's true I've got a hell of a problem."

It was previously reported that Kate and Jamie got a little bit too cozy with each other at the party for the unveiling of the Golden Globe Ambassadors on Thursday night. Taking group shots, the "Django Unchained" star couldn't keep his hands off the brunette beauty, who looked stunning in a tight black dress with cutouts. Jamie, meanwhile, was stylish in a burgundy suit jacket with black turtleneck.

Kate announced her split from director Len Wiseman in 2015 after being married for 11 years. Their divorce recently got finalized. She was briefly linked to comedian and "Saturday Night Live" star Pete Davidson earlier this year.

As for Jamie, he reportedly broke up with his rumored longtime girlfriend Katie Holmes in May. He was then rumored dating 19-year-old up-and-coming singer Sela Vave, whom he has been taking under his wings, but the two have debunked the rumors. Recently, it was said that he's dating 26-year-old model and waitress Dana Caprio.
