Thanking fans and the brains behind the hit show during the curtain call of the musical, the retired rocker tells the audience that 'this musical is my life.'

AceShowbiz - Tina Turner wowed the crowd at the opening night of her Broadway musical on Thursday night (November 07) by taking a curtain call with the cast.

The "Private Dancer" singer took the stage at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre in New York City to rave about "Tina: The Tina Turner Musical" as superfans like Oprah Winfrey, Whoopi Goldberg, Spike Lee, and Tiffany Haddish cheered her on.

Thanking fans and the brains behind the hit show, the retired rocker said, "This musical is my life. It's like poison that turned into medicine. I can never be as happy as I am now."

The show stars Adrienne Warren, who originated the role of Turner in the hit West End production.

"Thank God for her," Tina said, before giving the actress a hug.
