The 'I'm a Thug' rapper reveals, in the documents lodged in a Florida court, that he owes $290,000 to tax officials at the IRS and over $57,000 in overdue child support payments among others.

AceShowbiz - Hip-hop veteran Trick Daddy has filed for bankruptcy for the fourth time.

The "I'm a Thug" rapper, real name Maurice Young, quietly lodged paperwork in a Florida court declaring himself broke in August, admitting his bank account is empty, and claiming he owes over $807,000 (£625,000) in debt.

In documents recently obtained by The Blast, the 46-year-old reveals he owes almost $436,000 (£338,000) to mortgage association executives, $290,000 (£224,500) to U.S. tax officials at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and just over $57,000 (£44,100) in overdue child support payments.

He goes on to list his assets as including his Miramar, Florida home, valued at $350,000 (£271,000), his Trick & Rick Music Publishing company, worth around $5,000 (£3,900), and his household goods totalling $1,500 (£1,200).

Trick Daddy has yet to comment on his latest financial difficulties, but he is no stranger to bankruptcy court officials, having previously filed similar paperwork back in 2015 and 2016.

However, each case to date was dismissed before his debt was cancelled.
