AceShowbiz - Macaulay Culkin and Lizzo joining forces onstage might be something that people would have never expected, but once they got it, they couldn't get enough of it. The unlikely, yet crowd-pleasing collaboration recently took place during the rapper's concert in Los Angeles.
The 39-year-old actor took to his Instagram page to share a video of him joining the "Truth Hurts" hitmaker during her show on Monday night, October 21. In the clip, the Billboard chart-topping artist asked the "Home Alone" star if he's "ready," to which he responded, "yeah," while holding a mic.
He then started dancing for what the raptress called "Like a Girl/Gigolo Game" show set along with the 31-year-old hip-hop star and several back-up dancers. They shared a hug as Lizzo shouted, "Make some noise for Macaulay Culkin everybody!" She said to the actor, "Love you, baby," before sending him off.
Macaulay wrote in the caption of the video, "When @lizzobeeating asks you to do a silly dance... You get up there and do a silly dance."
Fans have since been raving about the two's impromptu collaboration. "Omg I love this so much," one wrote in the comment section of the post. Another added, "I can't I'm dying these two together is everything."
"I didn't know i needed this what a Tuesday!" another reacted to the video. Someone else got nostalgic after watching Macaulay's old dance moves. "Ahh the dance moves from my time...refreshing!" the said user wrote.
Macaulay and Lizzo have previously teamed up when the actor made a cameo in music video for Lizzo's 2014 track "Faded".
Lizzo has since risen to become a big rap star today. Her song "Truth Hurts" recently tied with Iggy Azalea's "Fancy" for the longest-running No. 1 female rap song on the Billboard 100 Chart. She celebrated it on Instagram by posting a snapshot of the Billboard chart.
"We... Are... Officially.... Tied w/ Fancy for longest female rap #1," she wrote in the caption. "thank you to everyone who streamed and guess what??? IF WE GET ONE MORE WEEK TRUTH HURTS WILL BE THE LONGEST RUNNING FEMALE RAP #1 OF ALL TIME."
