The former 'Clueless' actress is released from a jail in Florida after her lawyer husband bailed her out only hours following her domestic violence arrest.

AceShowbiz - Stacey Dash has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanour domestic violence charge.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Dash has entered a written not guilty to the charge, relating to an alleged assault on her husband, Jeffrey Marty, over the weekend.

Editors at the New York Post report that Marty paid the $500 to get the 52-year-old Clueless actress released from the Land-O-Lakes Detention Facility in Florida on Monday morning, September 30.

The actress, who played Dionne Davenport in the 1995 cult classic, was arrested on Sunday following the alleged altercation with her lawyer spouse at their New Port Richey home.

She claims she was acting in self-defence alleging Marty had put her in a chokehold as she argued with his 15-year-old daughter.

Marty suffered "red scratch marks" on his left arm, according to a police report.

Dash has been given access to a public defender because she can't afford a private lawyer.
