AceShowbiz - Zayn Malik's youngest sister Safaa married her boyfriend Martin on Monday, September 16, just three days after her 17th birthday.
The "Pillow Talk" singer's mum Trisha shared a series of snaps from her daughter's big day on her Instagram page, captioning the gallery: "My baby girls big day."
One showed Safaa wearing a red lehenga (traditional Indian attire) with intricate gold detailing ahead of the traditional Nikah ceremony in the family's home city of Bradford, England. Another saw the bride cuddling up to an older female relative, while a third saw Safaa posing with her mum, Martin and another woman - presumably the groom's mother.
A fourth snap showed Safaa and Martin cutting their cake following the ceremony.
Noticeably absent from pictures of the occasion was Zayn, who is currently based in the U.S. However, it's not known whether or not he attended the wedding but just opted out of being photographed there. His last Instagram post came on July 23.
After Trisha shared the pictures on Instagram, Zayn's ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid was among the thousands "liking" the post.
Safaa is Zayn's youngest sister - he also has sisters Doniya, 28, a fashion blogger, and Waliyha, 21, a model.
