The Dave Meyers-directed visuals sees the former Fifth Harmony member trying to escape recurring nightmares that she has been having ever since a date with her suave-talking fiance.

AceShowbiz - Camila Cabello continues to hype up fans ahead of the release of her sophomore album. Following the release of her two new songs, the Cuban songstress delighted her devotees on Wednesday, September 11 with the music video for "Liar".

Directed by Dave Meyers, the visuals begins with Camila feeling less-than-pleased when she is out on a lunch date with her suave-talking fiance who appears to be boring her. Just when she is at the peak of her boredom, one waiter approaches their table and purposely spills wine on her fiance. It turns out the waiter is interested in Camila as he gives her a paper that probably has his phone number written on it.

But before she can even cheat on her fiance with the male waiter, she starts having dreams where she is put in inconvenient situations. As the video goes on, her dream takes increasingly bizarre twists that include an elephant, a herd of cyclists and an army of miniature drones. Camila tries everything she can to escape the nightmare, but going as far as burning her own mansion apparently isn't able to help her escape.

Besides "Liar", "Shameless" is Camila's recently-released song that will be included on her upcoming album "Romance". Even though the former Fifth Harmony member has yet to reveal when the effort will hit the stores, she has given some insight into what the album houses. "These songs are basically the story of my life the past couple years and the stories I've accumulated," she said in a statement. "I know for a long time I wanted my album to be called 'Romance' because these stories are about falling in love."

"Romance" will follow her self-titled debut studio album that was released on January 12, 2018. Previously titled "The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving.", the album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard and was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 61st Annual Grammy Awards.
