Honored with the Hollywood Boulevard plaque on August 29, the 'Melancholia' star sees herself saluted by director Sofia Coppola and brought to tears by fiance Jesse Plemons.

AceShowbiz - Kirsten Dunst unveiled her Walk of Fame star on Thursday, August 29 after revealing she still feels like a "nobody" in Hollywood.

The 37-year-old actress was honoured with the latest Hollywood Boulevard plaque as her parents, fiance Jesse Plemons and their baby son, Ennis, watched, but Kirsten still feels her lack of awards and accolades has prompted filmmakers to look elsewhere when they are on the hunt for leading ladies.

During a recent interview with Sirius XM's "In-Depth With Larry Flick", the former child star wondered why she had never been acknowledged for her acting work, stating, "I've never been nominated for anything. Maybe like, twice for a Golden Globe when I was little and one for Fargo. I always feel like nobody."

"I am so chill. Maybe I don't play the game enough? But then... I do everything I'm supposed to. It's not like I'm rude or, like, not doing publicity or anything. I know that all you have is your work at the end of the day, and that's all people really care about. I'm intelligent enough to know that and have perspective... (but) it'd be nice to be recognised by your peers."

Kirsten also wondered why so many of her movies become popular years after critics panned them.

"Remember when 'Marie Antoinette' (came out)? Y'all panned it? And now you all love it," she laughed of the 2006 film. "Remember 'Drop Dead Gorgeous'? Panned. Now you all love it. It's, like, interesting for me. I feel a lot of things I do people like later."

But she was celebrating on the Walk of Fame on Thursday as Plemons and her director pal Sofia Coppola saluted the actress.

Coppola, who has been working with Dunst since 1999, praised the actress' intelligence and grace, while Jesse brought her to tears as he said, "I love you, Keeks, and I couldn't be any prouder of you than I am right now."
