AceShowbiz - John Mayer has won a restraining order against a man he has accused of harassing him.
The "Daughters" singer claims the fan has started to make him feel nervous by referencing infamous serial killers in messages.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Mayer alleges the guy has also threatened him with physical violence, offering up notes that read: "You step from me again and I will kill you", "All ya had to do was be my pal", and "I've put many a jew in the hospital".
Mayer claims the harassment has been ongoing since March and reveals security staff had to intervene when the man showed up at a public place in North Carolina "knowing that I would be making an appearance".
The guy has been ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Mayer and his home and a hearing to determine if the protection order should be made permanent will be held on August 27.
