The beef between Candiace and Monique escalated after the latter reveals on Instagram Stories during a Q and A that Candiace didn't reach out 'to offer a sincere apology.'

AceShowbiz - Friendship is over betweeen between Monique Samuels and her "The Real Housewives of Potomac" co-star Candiace Dillard. The two Bravo personalities recently were involved in online back and forth as the newest episode of the show featured that their friendship was indeed on the verge of ending.
The former best friends were at odds after Monique told Candiace that she started becoming the new Ashley Darby, a statement which Candiance didn't take well. Monique thought that since she was her best friend, she felt the need to tell Candiace when she's wrong.
The beef between Candiace and Monique escalated after Monique revealed on Instagram Stories during a Q&A that Candiace didn't reach out "after watching her spiraling out of control to offer a sincere apology." Candiace saw the post and quickly blasted Monique, calling her "a great actor."
The shade didn't stop her. A fan asked Monique, "Candace [sic] is filled with shade and drama, how do you deal with it?" Responding to the question, the TV star replied, "I don't. Luckily, I have more going on in my life besides the show."
Monique also addressed her fallout with Candiace in a new interview with All About The Tea. The former divulged that she blocked Candiace on social media "because I don't want her stalking my page." She continued, "She wants attention and I refuse to give it to her. I don't give in to temper tantrums… I laugh at them! Ask my kids."
She also revealed that Candiace was projecting issues onto her. According to Monique, "She can take this battle to the appropriate source- her mommy."
Prior to this, Monique told Andy Cohen during her appearance on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" that the issues between the two lay on Candiace who "kept thinking that I was on Ashley [Darby]'s side." She explained, "And my whole thing was it's not about sides. That's so immature. We're talking about what's right and what's wrong."
"You're attacking a woman for her drinking because you don't think she's trying to get pregnant and all of the things she was doing. It was like for what? And there was no reason behind it," she continued. "So I just wanted to tell her, I said, 'Look at me last year. I was doing things that I shouldn't have [done], and look how it turned out, so don't go down that road.' So it wasn't that I was trying to put myself on a pedestal; I just wanted her to do better and take me for example and move forward and stop being so combative."
As for their Twitter fight, Monique said it was more like Candiace was fighting herself. "I tried not to engage her. She at-ed me, so of course I'm gonna respond," she said. "Yeah, she called me a mannequin. I'm like, 'Girl, go to the children's table and sit down.' Like, seriously."
With the drama between the Monique and Candiace, Andy said, "OK, this is gonna be an interesting reunion." Monique responded, "Oh, it's gonna be a really good reunion," before adding, "Sit her right next to me."
