AceShowbiz - Halle Berry is usually very private when it comes to her children, but that doesn't mean she prevents herself from going out with her kids. On Sunday, July 21, the "John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum" star was photographed going on a shopping date with her two children, 11-year-old Nahla Berry Aubry and 5-year-old Maceo Martinez.
In a picture that circulated on the Internet, the trio were pictured leaving Michael's craft store in Los Angeles before Halle treated the kids to In-N-Out Burger. All of them opted for casual look during the outing, with the "Catwoman" star rocking a loose navy T-shirt and baggy boyfriend jeans. She covered her hair with a knit beanie and wore a pair of shades to protect her eyes from the bright rays.
On the other hand, Nahla wore a matching white T-shirt and shorts with her natural curly hair pulled back in a pony tail. Maceo was seen sporting a dark T-shirt and khaki shorts. Unlike his sister and mother who donned open toe sandals, the little boy chose to wear black shoes, complete with a pair of gray socks.
Halle shares Nahla with her ex Gabriel Aubry, while Maceo is her son with ex-husband Olivier Martinez, whom she divorced after three years of marriage. Unlike other celebrity mothers, the actress rarely posts pictures of her kids on social media, and that is because she wants to safeguard their privacy.
Talking about her decision during an interview with "Today", Halle said, "I just don't want to plaster them all over the internet. That just doesn't feel right for me. They're gonna do that soon enough. That's gonna be their life when they grow up, and they will choose when that starts. I've fought really hard to protect their privacy and I just want them to have their life and have it be theirs."
