Executives at Eye Records have been ordered to pay the 'Purple Rain' hitmaker's estate $7 million for selling live performances and unreleased tracks without the proper rights.

AceShowbiz - The guardians of late music icon Prince's estate have scored a major legal victory against record label bosses who have released 18 unauthorised compilations since his death.
According to new legal documents, obtained by TMZ, Eye Records executives have been ordered to remove their bootlegged releases from online retail source newlovesigne.com and pay the estate officials $7 million (£5.6 million) for peddling live performances and unreleased tracks without the proper rights.
The estate bosses initially demanded $2 million (£1.6 million) for every alleged Prince trademark violation.
It appears the website offering up the tracks has been taken down already.
