AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle has fallen into victims of mom-shaming. The Duchess of Sussex was criticized after photos of her and baby Archie while attending the King Power Royal Charity Polo Day on Wednesday, July 10 had made their way online.
One of the photos saw Meghan holding her 2-month-old baby, who was clad in a white onesie during the outing. Naysayers, however, didn't think the way the new mom held the baby was correct and blasted her for not having maternal insticts.
"She can't have any maternal instincts at all," one critic wrote on Twitter. "Archie's neck and whole body not supported by her at all. No sun hat to protect him."
Royal fans immediately jumped into Meghan's defense and flooded the tweet with defensive replies. "It seems you don't understand how to hold a baby either. The position Archhie is in is recommended. Maybe educate yourself before you start shaming others. And if you feel comfortable enough, post pictures of you and your family. Guaranteed I can rip them apart just as easily," one fan hit back.
"All this shaming of Meghan Markle is getting beyond pathetic. Whatever she does is wrong in the eyes of some. The latest being she can't hold her own baby properly," another one said. Meanwhile, one person argued, "If you're going off of a photograph, remember that a photograph is only a tiny fraction of a second on time. Doesn't mean his head wasn't supported besides a for a fraction of a second."

"I didn' know there was negative media out there. Any time I see her name attached to anything, I don't read it," the tennis star said the former "Suits" actress during a Wimbledon press conference on Friday, July 12.
Serena further shared that regardless the negative media coverage, she would always be by her side just like what Meghan did to her. "She couldn't be a better friend to me. Low moments, high moments, she's always there, and that's all I want to be to her," the seven-time Wimbledon winner said.
Meghan herself previously said that she was also staying away from messy headlines. "I don't read anything," she said when someone asked if she used Twitter during an International Women's Day conference. "It's much safer that way, but equally that's just my own personal preference, because I think positive or negative, it can all sort of just feel like noise to a certain extent these days."
Prior to this, Piers Morgan slammed Meghan for demanding privacy while she was at Wimbledon to support Serena. "Honestly, it's a complete joke," the 54-year-old presenter continued. "You've got to work out what you want to be. Do you want to be public or private?"
"If you go to Wimbledon in your free tickets in the Royal Box, the best seats in the house for nothing, and you take your two bezzies... you're public people," he added, before saying, "If you want to be private, go back to America and live privately."
