A source says June's drugs use wasn't news to those close to the 'From Not to Hot' star, who allegedly checked into rehab last February but got back on drugs again after she left the facility.

AceShowbiz - Mama June a.k.a. June Shannon's history of drug use apparently began way before she was arrested in March. While her fans might be shocked when they learned that the reality TV star and her boyfriend were busted for possession of crack cocaine two months ago, this was reportedly not news to those close to her.
"I'm so shocked this didn't get out long before," a source tells HollywoodLife.com about June's alleged drug use. "When you'd go to her house she would be out of it like you're out [of it] before you get put under before surgery. She was wiped." The so-called insider claims that June's beau Geno "looked out of it too" and the "Mama June: From Not to Hot" star "has been high when she is with him."
According to the source, the situation got so bad earlier this year that the production team behind her hit TV show urged her to get help. "There were needles everywhere in her home. Alana [was sent] to live with Pumpkin," a source told the news outlet when June was arrested. "June went to rehab at the end of February in Georgia after they wrapped filming season 3 of her show. She was in there voluntarily, but she left and was on a drugs binge until she got arrested."
Another source confirms that June hasn't got her life back together after checking out of rehab. "I'm disgusted there has not been change in June in all these years," the source adds. "She is still blaming others and has a drug problem. Since the very beginning there's been issues and this is nothing new."
The sources' claims corroborate an event shown in the new episode of "From Not to Hot". In a preview clip from the Friday, May 24 episode, June's family stages an intervention on the 43-year-old star with the help of Dr. Ish Major. Her youngest daughter Alana Thompson a.k.a. Honey Boo Boo, who is living with her sister Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, breaks down in tears as she says that she wants to move back home.
