Denying reports of her being ordered back to jail in a statement, the 'Real Housewives of New York City' star says, 'I'm glad the judge was understanding once made aware of the evidence provided.'

AceShowbiz - Luann de Lesseps' legal trouble seemingly has no end. "The Real Housewives of New York City" star was taken into custody on Thursday morning, May 23 for violating her probation. While previous reports suggested that Luann was ordered back to jail, the star has since released a statement denying the rumors.

"These reports are false," she said, referring to reports that she would be living behind bars again. "I'm glad the judge was understanding once made aware of the evidence provided and I was then released. I am now looking forward to completing my remaining few months of probation. I want to put this behind me and move forward with life."

Instead of making her return to prison, a judge ordered her probation to be reinstated and for the conditions to be modified. According to court documents, Luann was ordered to have weekly telephone counseling sessions with her treating psychiatrist and monthly in-person session. Additionally, she was ordered to take an alcohol abuse medication as prescribed by her doctor and was instructed to maintain a "soberlink" breathalyzer monitoring devise as directed by her probation officer.

Back in December 2017, Luann was arrested and charged with battery, trespass in an occupied structure and disorderly intoxication in Palm Beach, Florida. She pleaded guilty to all three charges as part of a plea deal and was put on probation.

Last month, the Florida Department of Corrections accused her of not taking her probation seriously after her probation officer reported that she tested positive for the presence of alcohol as evidenced by a failed remote breath test on a breathalyzer. The cabaret star later admitted to drinking 2 glasses of mimosa after a performance she had in Chicago. In addition, she failed to provide sufficient documentation of completed AA meetings.
